The Lester Holiday Lights Show

Happy Holidays to all! After stumbling across Jack's website a very kind and generous neighbor has asked if his amazing holiday light show fundraising could benefit the Jack Lynch Fund. After meeting Joe and Steve and seeing the amazing holiday light show they have built we of course said we were honored to the charity of choice this year.

That said, I encourage all of you to visit the light show as it really is incredible. It encompasses 3 house and thousands of lights. It is well worth the trip and is open every night this month. The info and directions are below and attached.

We have told them we would generate awareness so please pass this along to anyone and everyone. If you can send it to any media to generate coverage please help out. Thank you!!!

Joe has been collecting for different charities for the past 7 years and has raised nearly $100,000 for local charities and families in need. He has two children, Justyn - 4 and Jennie - 11months. The lights are on from Thanksgiving night through New Year's Day.

FUNDRAISERS FOR JACK LYNCH
SAVE THE DATES:

- New York City: November 15, 2005

2nd Annual
TWO NIGHTS, TWO CITIES: ONE GREAT CAUSE!

A gathering of sports business professionals and friends in Boston and NYC.
NSMN invites you and your colleagues to join us for a special evening of networking, cocktails, music and a silent auction to again help raise funds and support the Jack Lynch Fund - to cover family treatment expenses for Jack Lynch and the Children's Floating Hospital in Boston where he is being treated. Your donations will also go to assist other families battling the same childhood cancers that the Lynch family has met during their journey.
Last year, the sports business community raised more than $60,000 in 4 hours by participating in these 2 fundraisers. This year, our goal is $100,000.

ABOUT THE LYNCH FAMILY:
Many of you know the Lynch family - Ed, Dianne, little Jack and newborn Aidan. Dianne and Ed are sports industry veterans: Dianne spent the last 7 years working with Major League Soccer as Vice President of Special Events and started her career in sports with the New England Patriots and Revolution. Ed has spent time at Pro Serv, MLBPA and Sports Illustrated. He is now based in Boston as a partner of All Access Sports and Event Marketing and a board member of NSMN's Boston Chapter.

ABOUT JACK:
In October 2003, two-year-old Jack was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma cancer - a rare childhood cancer. He has been enduring chemo and other treatments ever since. Jack has demonstrated how strong and resilient kids can be, and he has given the family the strength to get through this terrible time. During this whole process, the Lynch Family has realized what so many other families realize when faced with medical bills. Even the best insurance policies don't cover all of the expenses that you encounter when treating cancer. We hope to raise money to cover their out-of-pocket hospital and treatment costs. In addition, we want to raise money for other families battling cancer, and help the phenomenal staff and facility at the Children's Floating Cancer Center. Go to www.jacklynchfund.com for more info on Jack, his condition and progress.
